A film with Yogi Babu as the lead actor may not sound exciting for us cynics. But Dharmaprabhu promises humour that isn’t restricted to slapstick comedy.
The fantasy comedy also stars Karunakaran, Ramesh Thilak, Azhagam Perumal, Bosskey, Manobala, Rekha and Janani Iyer. Dharmaprabhu is directed by Muthukumaran while Justin Prabhakaran has composed the music.
The film portrays Yogi Babu as Lord Yama, the Lord of Death as he schemes to send the people who have done good in their lives to hell and the bad ones to heaven. Interesting premise.
Very few comedians have excelled in lead roles of full length comedies. Vadivelu is one of the few. Will Yogi Babu follow his footsteps?
