The legendary Indian music composer and singer Yuvan Shankar Raja is scheduled to perform live for the second time at the Axiata Arena on July 15, 2023. The entire music industry is preparing for an unforgettable night of amazing Tamil renditions by Yuvan. The HIGH ON U1 press conference was held at EQ Kuala Lumpur on June 10, 2023. The star of the show, Yuvan Shankar Raja, and his wife, Zafroon Nisa, attended this press conference, organised by Don’t Run Away Asia and Horizongroups.
Yuvan Shankar Raja gained notoriety as the BGM King and has composed and produced film scores, soundtracks, and songs for more than 150 films in various languages, predominantly Tamil.
Yuvan Shankar Raja, who is known for his soulful voice and is frequently referred to as the “BGM King” in the Indian music industry, will take the stage in Malaysia for the second time, making the event all the more special for his fans.
This spectacular concert, which promises to be an evening of pure entertainment and significance, will include a star-studded lineup of singers alongside Yuvan Shankar Raja.
Among the lineup of singers, some of the biggest stars in the Tamil music industry, who will be coming down to Malaysia to enshrine this soulful concert are Premji, Rahul Nambiar, Hari Priya, Haricharan, Priyanka, Diwakar, Vishnu Priya, Rakshita, Mc Sanna, and Rukhsar.
To add more excitement to the concert, Yuvan will be performing alongside the one and only Silambarasan. Known professionally as STR, he is a renowned actor, filmmaker, and musician in Tamil cinema. STR and Yuvan have worked together on many blockbusters hit movies, and now this pair is about to perform live on July 15, 2023, at Axiata Arena. After their fantastic collaboration in Maaanadu, fans cannot wait to witness this amazing combo again live.

Speaking about the concert, Yuvan Shankar Raja said this one will be different from the previous one in KL as it will be more high on energy, and he is super excited to rock the show.
When asked if the BGM segment would be included in the concert, he responded that he hoped they could and emphasised that this one would be different for his fans.
He also sang the Kadhal Aasai song during the press conference and briefly hummed a BGM from the Iyaayo song.
