The well-known director of Tamil cinema, Gautham Vasudev Menon (GVM), appeared on the stage on the night of 4.0. Harris, Gautham Vasudev Menon and Karthik shared their moments from their journey during ‘Vaaranam Aayiram‘ movie. Initially, GVM had requested Harris for the music of ‘Tappu melam‘ as he wanted a fast-beat song and it was a breakup song. He wanted to initiate a new genre where it’s a breakup song and the penned lyrics would express the pain but the fast beat of the song would make us transform all the grief into dance. At this point, Harris suggested that the sound of ‘Tappu melam’ would never suit the classy style of GVM and instead of that, he gave him ‘Anjala’, the masterpiece celebration of pain.
