Mother Earth has bestowed upon women the duty of bearing the epitome of beauty and grace. It is through the womb of a woman that life emerges, and her care and nurturing is what keeps the human race alive. The mission of the Mrs. Earth Pageant is to honour that very essence of womanhood and nature and their reciprocal relations with one another. This internationally renowned and prestigious event does not only prize the beauty of women from within but also seeks the beauty of their minds as intellectuals. There will even be a forum dedicated to the pageant delegates to speak on their careers and inspire one another to have a dialogue about the complexity of womanhood. The crowned victor will be the face and voice of the organisation, who will be graced the duty of in promoting ecological preservation, world peace, tourism, and fraternity.
The Mrs. Earth Malaysia 2023 finalist were announced and sashed on May 28 at the Arte By Thomas Chan in Mont Kiara. The event was graced by Mrs. Universe Classic 2022 Ammetta Kaur Malhotra, who is the National Director of Mrs. Earth Malaysia, along with the Co-National Director, Mrs. Intercontinental International 2022 Previtha Rajah. There was also the amazing presence of Supermodel Universe Malaysia Ambassador, Dato’ Dania Abd Wahab, Mrs. Malaysia Petite Kebaya 2022 Kavita Supramaniam, Rentak Sejuta’s publisher Anastasia Doping, and many other important event partners, sponsors, and collaborators had attended the wonderfully organised ceremony. The finalists in the pageant have to present a project and express their goals for the year. The Grand Finale of the pageant will be held at the Royal Chulan Damansara in Mutiara Damansara on July 2, 2023.

This year is the first time this international beauty pageant will be taking place in Malaysia, and the organisers have expressed great pride in this. This will be a tremendous opportunity for Malaysian women to showcase their beauty and intellect through this platform. This year Mrs. Earth’s Pageant Theme is Making a Difference One Green Step At A Time. As we live in a period of drastic climate change causing flash floods, heat waves, and draughts all over the globe, it is crucial that international spaces like Mrs. Earth take the responsibility to bring awareness to these crises. The pageant not only brings awareness to ecological problems but also creates a productive space for beautiful intellectual women to come together and solve the climate crisis.
