Sai Pallavi, Fahadh Faasil and Prakash Raj will be working together on the upcoming Malayalam film Athiran. The filmmakers just announced that the film will also release in Tamil and Telugu.
Athiran will be a psychological thriller set at a hospital in Ooty. Fahadh plays the role of a doctor. Veteran actor Atul Kulkarni will also be starring in the film. Athiran is directed by debutant Vivek with music by Jayahari and Ghibran.
Sai Pallavi was catapulted to fame thanks to her role in Maari 2, particularly the Rowdy Baby song dance sequence. She will be seen in the upcoming film NGK which also stars Suriya.
Fahadh is enjoying the success of Super Deluxe, but is an established star in the Malayalam film industry. He made his debut as a lead actor 17 years ago, and he recently produced and starred in the award winning film Kumbalangi Nights.
Prakash Raj is currently busy with his political career. The actor will contest as an Independent candidate from Bengaluru Central Lok Sabha constituency in the upcoming Indian elections.
