The different aspect of the story were welcomed with wide celebration. They gave a different perspective for the community. This increased the anticipation of Malaysian Indians towards the upcoming features of Malaysian Tamil cinema.

In that row, the movie ‘Rajathanthiram: The Piano’ is set to hit the screens in Malaysia on 29th June 2023. This movie is directed by Dinakaran C and Aaron Rao who are new comers to the field of this art. New talents should be welcomed as their ideas might be unique and best. This movie is presented by Spike Productions. A number of leading Malaysian stars are being a part of this movie. The story focuses around a unique piano that holds a valuable secret. Many years ago, a guy named Arumugam receives a wooden box as a present from an unknown Englishman in appreciation for his charity. Arumugam discovered a precious pink diamond while studying the wooden box further in his house. With no intention of selling the diamond, he and his piano-maker friend planned and created a custom-made piano with a secret compartment that can only be unlocked by playing a specific tune. Arumugam divides the tunes into four parts and educates each of his four children separately. Years passed and Arumugam got Alzheimer’s disease, forgetting about the piano’s secret, as does his family, but things start to go wrong when several dangerous and mysterious figures discover the piano’s secret and follow Arumugam’s family for the diamond.

The storyline looks refreshing with an unique perspective. Looks like the story breaks away from the conventional narrative by presenting something truly unique. There was a premiere show of the movie telecasted at TSR Cinema, Shah Alam. Artists and special guests who watched the movie gave good review about the storyline. They said the audience could experience more suspense and thrill moment from the movie. The crew requested all our Malaysian Indians to support them by watching the movie in theater and share their experience. Let’s plan this weekend with ‘Rajathanthiram: The Piano’!
