Malaysian Natyanjali Arts Academy has organized a competition of  “Athichudi”, the World’s Greatest Record Book of World Record. We have two different types of “Athichudi” wrote by Avvaiyar and Barathiyar. The ones  which was written by Avvaiyar known as “Athichudi” and in addition, Bharathiyar gave us “Puthiya Athichudi”. These two people are legendary poets who have contributed much for Tamil language and the society. The Tamil poet Avvaiyar wrote Avvaiyar Aathichudi, which is a compendium of moral teachings and values. In ancient Tamil literature, a group of female poets were referred to as Avvaiyar. The most well-known among them is Avvaiyar, who is believed to have rose to prominence during the Chola dynasty’s reigns of Kambar and Ottakoothar. Tamil people frequently envision her as an elderly and wise lady. Many poems and the Avvai Kural, comprising 310 kurals in 31 chapters, belong to this period. She is most widely known for her “Aathichudi”, “Kondraiventhan”, and “Nal Vazhi and “Moothurai”.

Aathichudi is made up of two words: “Aathi,” which means “beginning,” and “Chudi,” which means “completion.” It means that the collection of verses works as a guide for children, teaching them fundamental truths and providing them with insights into living a decent life. The Aathichudi is made up of 109 verses, each of which conveys moral, ethical, and practical insight.  rhymes address a wide range of issues, including the value of education, the importance of hard labour, the relevance of truthfulness, the strength of unity, the necessity of kindness, and the qualities of compassion and respect. These lessons are delivered in easy and memorable lines, making it easier for children to grasp and remember them.

Bharathiyar Athichudi in Tamil, is a compilation of verses composed by the famed Tamil poet and independence warrior Subramania Bharati who is also well known as Mahakavi Bharathiyar. Bharathiyar Athichudi is a work of art that presents moral and ethical principles in the form of simple and insightful poetry. The phrase “Athichudi” translates approximately as “a collection of one-line sayings.” The Athichudi is made up of 109 verses, each of which contains profound insight and counsel for living a noble life. Moral values, personal behaviour, education, patriotism, love, equality, and the necessity of women’s empowerment are among the issues addressed in the poems.

Malaysian Natyanjali Arts Academy Association, in the initiative of embracing the beauty and significance “Athichudi” to the young generation, is organizing this event highlighting “Athichudi” by Avvaiyar and Bharathiyar.
