One of South Indian cinema’s most adaptable actors is Chiyaan Vikram. It is said that he just finished
filming for his major movie, “Thangalaan“, with director Pa Ranjith. The actor has came out with a very unique look in this film. Photos of the star looking bold and charming with his new appearance is going popular on social media websites. The evergreen star has played so many significant characters to various films such as “Pithamagan“, “Anniyan“, “Saamy” and many more. “Ponniyin Selvan 1” and “Ponniyin Selvan 2” and now his upcoming release would be “Thangalaan“. He received National Film Award for Best Actor for his acting in “Pithamagan”.
Vikram has appeared in a few Telugu and Hindi films in addition to Tamil films. Audiences praised his performances in films such as “Aparichitudu” (the Telugu adaptation of “Anniyan“) and “Raavan” (Hindi). Vikram has garnered various prizes for his services to cinema throughout the years, including several Filmfare prizes and Tamil Nadu State Film Awards. He is still a well-known and respected actor in the profession, noted for his flexibility and devotion to his work.
For the moment, there is no news or a clear picture of Chiyaan’s next film. While there were reports stating that Chiyaan is going to reconsider a film that he opted out which was given a title, Mahavir Karna. There has not been any confirmed news in regards to this project yet. But now, several sources has been going around by word of mouth stating that our charming actor, Chiyaan Vikram is all set and ready to collaborate with the famous eccentric director of films like “Kaithi“, “Vikram” and now progressing with “Leo“; Lokesh Kanagaraj. Lokesh Kanagaraj is one of the promising director in the Kollywood industry. All the films directed by him created blockbuster records. Kollywood fans will be super excited to witness this combo.
It is said that Chiyaan Vikram is likely to act in one of the script written by Lokesh Kanagaraj while his assistant Mahesh Subramaniam takes over the supervisory and directive duties. Lalit Kumar who is the producer of “Leo“, also provided funding for “Leo” through his production company Seven Screen Studio. The project’s working title is “Chiyaan 62.” However, a formal affirmation is still pending. Meanwhile one of the much awaited movie of Vikram which is “Dhuruva Natchathiram” is still in the waiting list of movies yet to be released. The movie is highly anticipated because it comes from the storyline of Gautham Vasudev Menon, who is a prominent director in Kollywood industry. He has given most evergreen and blockbuster movies in cinema industry. The song “Oru manam” by Karthik from this movie received a wide celebration and still ruling the playlists of many. Updates of the film is also much anticipated.
