The much-awaited collaboration between Venkat Prabhu and Vijay has been tentatively titled Thalapathy 68. This will be the first time that the actor and director will be working on a project together. Venkat Prabhu has shared through social media that the title of the film, which will be released soon, is a fiery one. Venkat Prabhu has always had a knack for titles, with his previous successful films like Chennai 600028, Saroja, Goa, and Mankatha.
He is one of the directors that are known and praised for his eclecticism and unique style to his writing and direction. The talented director had won several accolades, like the Tamil Nadu State Award and Vijay Award, for his debut film Chennai 600028, which gave him a welcoming start to his film career.
Actor Vijay is about to release his highly anticipated film Leo on October 19th. The film is directed by none other than one of the most highly sought after directors in Kollywood right now, Lokesh Kanagaraj. Vijay and Lokesh have previously worked on the massively successful film Master.
This film Leo had just recently released its single, titled Naa Ready, which enjoyed roaring international success. The film’s music is composed by the highly talented Anirudh, who has composed the music for Vijay’s Master and Kaththi. Along with Vijay, the film also feautures Trisha, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Arjun Sarja, Mysskin, Priya Anand, Mansoor Ali Khan, Matthew Thomas, and many more
The music for the film will be composed by none other than Yuvan Shankar Raja himself. Yuvan has predominantly composed critically acclaimed albums for Venkat Prabhu, like Chennai 600028, Saroja, Goa, Mankatha, and Maanadu. The young maestro has also composed spellbinding music for Vijay’s Puthiya Geethai which came out in 2003, this will a grand reunion of the two artist after over a 2 decade break.
