Balram Nair, aka IAmBugzey, has composed a brand new song for Snazzy Wedges titled Kackus. The song is meant to be a commentary on the monotonous, intimate, and private activity of excreting in the morning. This is an incredibly odd, uncomfortable, and inappropriate experience to speak of so publicly, yet the creative collaboration of music composer Balram Nair, rapper Snazzy, and sound engineer Navin “D’Navigator” Kumar has interestingly expressed this private feeling in a comedic and entertaining way.
Balram Nair has managed to carve out his own unique image and style within the Malaysian music industry. Apart from being a music composer, lyricist, vocalist, and rapper, Balram is also a skilled technical professional who works as the Senior Managing Director of Invento Solutions, a web design company. He began his venture into music as a sound engineer for PU4LYF Entertainment and gradually immersed himself in the industry through producing, engineering, and even ghostwriting. One of his notable works is his co-production of hit tracks like Graamathu Ponnu by Viveck Ji and Shantra that became massively popular in Malaysia and India. He has worked with several known artists like Rabbit & Friendz, Kambathu Rapper, and Vere Mari. IAmBugzey has also collaborated with Klangkai on the project titled StreetDawgz.
Snazzy is a comedic rapper who has lent his voice and creative vision to this song. He has recently shot to fame through the Jeeyum Neeyum Astro series, where he has been praised for the portrayal of his character, Kamal. The romantic-mystical comedy series has been running successfully and garnering many devoted fans. Apart from his acting and music careers, Snazzy is also a comedian and graphic designer. He stated in an interview with Astro that he was initially incredibly nervous to play the character of Kamal on the series, but through relentless persistence and passion, he gained the confidence to perform the character fearlessly.
This song could also not have materialised without the talented labour of the renowned sound engineer, producer, and composer Navin “D’Navigator” Kumar, who has an incredibly illustrious career in the music industry. D’Navigator has worked across genres and languages and manages to create amazingly entertaining compositions with immense depth. The talented artist has worked with well-known and celebrated performers like Sasi the Don, Balan Kash, Malique, and M. Nasir. IAmBugzey has heartfully expressed that D’Navigator had not only meticulously engineered this song to Snazzy’s vision but also managed to do it while also weaving his own individual element into the tune.
