The plot of the film is said to be inspired by a real-life Indian army officer who helped preserve Indian control over Jammu and Kashmir. A large part of this film will take place in Kashmir for this very reason.
The film will see the critically acclaimed Sai Pallavi as the female lead. This amazingly talented actress has amassed fans all across South India with her naturally exceptional screen presence and performance capability. The music for the film will be composed by G. V. Prakash. The highly talented music composer is also working on the film Captain Miller, starring Dhanush and Pa. Ranjith’s Thangalaan.
Sivakarthikeyan has had astounding success this year with the release of his latest film, Maaveeran. Directed by Madonne Ashwin, who created the critically acclaimed film Mandela, Maaveeran has gained wide praise from fans and critics alike for its creative approach to the plot and its important social message. Sivakarthikeyan will also be releasing another one of his films this year on Diwali, titled Ayalaan.
