Vijay has joined hands with director Venkat Prabhu for his next movie which is tentatively titled as “Thalapathy 68“. Meanwhile, his much anticipated theatrical release is “Leo” which is scheduled to be released on 19th October 2023. “Leo” is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj who is known for “Lokesh Cinematic Universe” and music scored by Anirudh Ravichander. The movie cast includes Vijay, Trisha, Arjun, Sanjay Dutt, Gautham Vasudev Menon and many other popular artists. The movie is nearing the completion of its post production.
Vijay is known for his charismatic presence in the Tamil film industry. He has garnered a massive fan following for his versatile acting skills and entertaining performances. His movies often blend action, drama, and social messages, making him a beloved figure in Indian cinema. Vijay’s contributions to the film industry have earned him widespread acclaim and numerous awards. It is expected “Thalapathy 68” will go on floors from November.
Yuvan Shankar Raja is the music composer for this movie. Notably, Yuvan is doing music for Vijay after 20 years. His previous movie for Vijay was “Puthiya Geethai” in 2003. Recently Yuvan Shankar Raja spilled some updates pertaining to the sound track of “Thalapathy 68” in a college event which he attended as the chief guest. During an interaction with the students, Yuvan revealed that the first single from “Thalapathy 68″ will be a “local kuthu song”. He also added that there is a long time left for the song to be launched.
The “Thalapathy 68″ crew embarked on a journey to USA to craft a confidential appearance for Vijay in the upcoming film. Meanwhile, Vijay was seen participating in a VFX 3D scanning session at a Los Angeles studio. The photo went viral on social media platforms. Director Venkat Prabhu has been consistently sharing progress updates from their USA trip to keep fans well-informed about the pre-production efforts for “Thalapathy 68″.
In “Thalapathy 68,” Vijay is rumored to take on a dual role, portraying both a father and a son. The younger character’s appearance is being kept tightly under wraps, promising an intriguing surprise. Production for the film is scheduled to kick off in November. Furthermore, it’s been reported that Priyanka Mohan and Simran have been cast as the female leads. However, fans will have to wait until Vijay’s upcoming release “Leo” before official updates about the film’s cast and crew are unveiled.
