Leo will be released worldwide on October 19 and will premiere without any cuts or changes exclusively in the UK, as promised by its distributers there. Ahimsa Entertainment, which is the distributor for the film in the UK, has expressed that, in recognition of Lokesh’s creative and technical vision, the film will be released without any altercations.

The film is stated to be an action thriller, with Vijay working for the second time with Lokesh after the success of their previous film Master. The film has completed shooting and is currently in post-production. Due to complaints, the Central Board of Film Certification has ordered that the film undergo several cuts due to censorship, but the uncensored version of the film will be permitted to be released in the UK.
The film will feature music composed by Anirudh, who has been massively praised for the success of his work on the recent hit film, Jailer. Fans are eagerly awaiting what the music director has in store for them in this film.
Leo will feature the stellar cast of Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Anurag Kashyap, Mysskin, Gautham Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan, and many more extraordinary talents.
