Vinveli Devathai is a Malaysian Tamil romantic comedy/drama film. This exciting new project is directed by the well-talented actor and director Shalini Balasundaram, who has done a lot of remarkable roles in Malaysian Tamil Movies such as Pulanaivu (2019), Thirudathey Papa Thirudathey (2018) and Geethaiyin Radhai (2016).
Shalini Balasundaram also plays the role of Vennila, the main lead, and stars Auro Chakkravarthy in the other lead role as well as Dhinesh Sivasangar, Gisnervern Arikrishnan, Sia Saara, and Clayten Rajendran in supporting roles
This movie has the pride of being the next Malaysian Tamil film that is spreading its wings to the Indian Entertainment market. Story Films produced the film and is licensed to release on September 21, 2023. Cinematography, editing, and screenplay by Sathish Natarajan, and music by Shameshan Mani Maran.
The film is about an aspiring girl who relocates to the city to pursue a degree in physics and falls in love with her old class/college friend. Unfortunately, their relationship gradually falls apart due to ego conflicts and outside influences. Soon, Vennila (Shalini Balasundaram) meets a boy named Akash, who shares her dream and has a soul mate. This forces Vennila to give her an ultimatum: choose between love and her dreams.
The trailer received a warm response from the audience after its release. The quality of the story, cinematography, music, editing, and acting seems excellent. Shalini Balasundaram is known for trying something new and entertaining the audience to the fullest every time and now it’s time for her to further prove her abilities.
Also from the trailer, it is visible that this will be a movie for people who love the romance genre because it contains a lot of romantic details, for comedy audiences there are a lot of comedy scenes and all. Both are linked together and interwoven with dramatic details. Definitely a movie worth watching.
The film is being shown in 32 theatres including famous locations such as TGV Cheras Sentral, GSC Setapak Sentral, GSC Quill City Mall, GSC NU Sentral and MBO Brem Mall. Although the official announcement of Vinveli Devathai OTT release is yet to be announced by the film’s team, the excitement to watch it continues to grow day by day.
The premiere of this film took place on September 20, 2023, which was a huge success as it was loved by the audience and overall the film received a well-deserved positive response.
