The Karikatcholan Historical Literary Stage Play Received Humongous Applause From The Audience

The Karikatcholan stage production, organized by the Malaysian Tamil Arts Council in partnership with Tan Sri KR Soma Arts and Culture Trust, was a huge success Last Saturday and Sunday at the Petaling Jaya Civic Center. This performance was conducted as a prologue to the Malaysian Tamil Arts Council’s Diamond Jubilee to celebrate the greatest monarch in history, Karikatcholan, and all  of the artists who participated in this drama captivated the audience.

SB Manivasakam, Secretary of the Diamond Jubilee Organizing Committee and Chairman of the Drama Coordinating Committee, thanked all the artists who worked hard to stage this play successfully, despite the fact that the sudden death of MS Maniam, President of the Malaysian Tamil Arts Council, who worked hard to stage this play, has caused great grief to the forum members. Tan Sri KR Somasundaram, who presided over the meeting.

The National Land Fund Cooperative Corporation will offer complete cooperation and support for literary dramas to be presented in Malaysia in the future.

Datuk Pa, secretary of Tan Sri Soma Art Foundation, expressed gratitude to the organizers and theater artists for the Malaysian Tamil Art Forum’s efforts to educate the next generation about the foundations of our past. Sahadeva explained this statement. Datuk Sri Saravanan, National Vice President of MAE, gave 10,000 ringgit to Malaysian Tamil Arts Council on the second day of Karikatcholan Natak.

Saravanan expressed his gratitude and compliments to everyone of the actors who took part in this play since they understood their characters well and played energetically.
