The drama team at “Radio Televisyen Malaysia” (RTM) has embarked on a new project, producing a four-episode Tamil drama to coincide with the celebration of Deepavali. Directed by Wan Afzam Wan Daud, this drama places a significant emphasis on the theme of ‘family,’ making it the central and focal point of the storyline. It explores the dynamics, relationships, and experiences within a family unit, delving into the various aspects of familial bonds, emotions, and challenges that the characters face throughout the narrative.
This drama boasts an ensemble casts which includes Thevaguru, Daview Puvanan, Hamsni Perumal, Shabby, Devakanni, Sasikumar, Haridhass, Sasitharan K Rajoo, and Khessikah playing major roles. Its a comedy story which also depicts the misunderstandings and clashing between two brothers. Daview Puvanan has played a role as Ramesh, the brother to Thevaguru who is playing a role as “Rohit” in this drama.
Rohit had a villa and doing homestay business. Ramesh who has no permanent job is going to his brother’s villa to stay with him and help him. He then finds out Ashwin, the secretary of the villa played by Shabby is doing something suspicious and informs his brother, Rohit. Rohit doesn’t believe this as he trusts Ashwin alot.
Subsequently, Ramesh finds himself grappling with a surge of jealousy as he witnesses his brother growing closer to a girl whom he himself has developed strong feelings for. The role of this captivating girl is portrayed by Hamsni Perumal, going by the name Kassni. As the narrative unfolds, it weaves a web of captivating intricacies and unforeseen developments that add depth and complexity to the story.
Ramesh realises the conflicts faced by his brother, Rohit and intends to help him and be supportive system for the brother. This depicts the depth of the bonding that the siblings shares. Ramesh’s willingness to stand by Rohit during his time of need reveals the true extent of their interconnectedness and the profound emotional connection they share as brothers.
The demonstration of solidarity portrayed in the film serves as a heartwarming testament to the enduring strength of family bonds.
