Vijay Sethupathi, who was recently seen playing a trans woman character in Super Deluxe, has reunited with director SP Jananthan for a project titled Laabam.
Vijay Sethupathi Productions And Arumuga Kumar of ‘Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren’ will be producing the film.
The project stars Shruti Haasan, Kalaiarasan and Jagapathi Babu. Vijay Sethupathi and Jananthan had previously worked together in Purampokku.
For the first time, Shruti Haasan will be teaming up with Vijay Sethupathi.
Shruti was last seen in Suriya’s Singam 3. She did not sign any Tamil projects for close to 2 years now. In Bollywood, she had recently signed a Hindi film with actor-filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar.
D. Imman is going to be composing music while Ramji will crank the camera.
