Director Anand Shankar, who has made films like Arima Nambi, Iru Mugan and NOTA, was said to be directing Vijay Sethupathi next, the director has refuted it as false news.
“News about my next isn’t true. Though I would definitely love that combination. Just working on good scripts now. Haven’t signed anything, yet. Also, I’m watching game of thrones. Like everyone else. Somehow it makes life worth living,” he tweeted earlier today.

Reports has claimed that the director has narrated a story and that Shibu Thameens, who produced Iru Mugan, as there could be a chance for his next venture.
Meanwhile, Vijay Sethupathi has begun his next project, Laabam. The film will be co-produced by the actor’s production house. Directed by SP Jhananathan, it has Shruti Haasan as the female lead.
