When the Malayalam song, “Jimki Kammal” went viral, we thought that it would be a great anthem for Vicky G Jewellery.

Vicky Ganesan, the founder of Vicky G Jewellery, has come a long way from her career as PR practitioner. When she moved to Australia with her family, Vicky was eager to find an outlet for creative expression. One thing led to another and Vicky soon found herself in a metalsmith workshop. Vicky learned how to mould, melt, cast and fill elements and transform them into wearable art. Using the traditional bell-shaped Indian earrings, the Jhumkha, as her main source of inspiration, Vicky starting adding modern twists and tales to it. The Jhumkha that Vicky produced received a facelift of colours, elements, beads and even feathers, while still maintaining their authentic shape and form.

Since its establishment, Vicky G Jewellery has produced eclectic, globally-inspired and exquisitely hand-crafted pieces of jewellery that have been sold worldwide.

We get up close and personal with the incredibly talented Vicky Ganesan on her journey down the road less taken. WATCH IT RIGHT HERE:
