In a dynamic and evolving economic landscape, skill development plays a pivotal role in empowering professionals. Recognising the essential need for skill enhancement for the B40 and M40 Indian communities, the Programme Mitra 2023: Professional Certificate in Supply Chain and Logistics Management (ACSLM) has been meticulously crafted to address the specific professional requirements of individuals within the Malaysian Indian community. This programme will take place between January and March over a span of 8 weeks at the Malaysian Academy of Supply Chain and Logistics Management (MASLM), Petaling Jaya. To be eligible for this programme, applicants must be Malaysian Indians within the B40 and M40 categories, aged 18 and above, and possess an SPM or SVM qualification.

Interested participants can apply for the programme through this link. The application deadline is on January 19, 2024.

This professional certification programme is designed to offer a comprehensive understanding of various facets within the logistics, supply chain, and transport industry. Encompassing key areas such as logistics and supply chain management, procurement, transportation, distribution, import and export documentation, and warehouse operations, participants are poised to gain a complex and in-depth view of the industry.

Structured with a balance of theoretical knowledge and practical application, the programme adopts a 60% lecture and 40% workshop approach. This unique blend ensures that participants not only grasp the theoretical underpinnings but also develop hands-on skills to adeptly navigate the challenges encountered in daily logistics, supply chain, and transport operations.

Facilitated by seasoned and qualified trainers, the program leverages the expertise of industry professionals to provide participants with insights that extend beyond textbooks. The emphasis on real-world problem-solving in workshops equips individuals with operational techniques that are widely applicable in the field.
