Seremban and Nilai to Launch Cashless Parking System Starting May 2

Effective May 2, the Seremban City Council will be implementing a cashless parking system in both Seremban and Nilai.

Bandar Prima Senawang (440 lots), Lavender Business Centre (552), Ixora Business Centre (172), Pusat Bandar Senawang (914), Rasah Prima (253), Era Square (437), Kepayang Business Square (678), Dataran Centrio (1,027), Uptown Avenue (1,011), and Nilai Square (132) are the areas specified by the council.

The Seremban City Council has appointed Syarikat Suasa Efektif (M) Sdn Bhd to operate and enforce the rules in these areas.
“Motorists will be able to use the Flexi Parking and Setel applications as well as the Touch n‘ Go e-wallet to make payments, and the parking rate will be 60 sen per hour, it said in a statement.

According to the MBS, the operational hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. On weekends and public holidays, parking is free.

On the other hand, the council announced that parking coupons will no longer be valid in Seremban and Nilai as of January 1st next year. The council stated that the public may contact its parking unit division at 06-765 4782/4761/4789 for further information or send their inquiries to mbseremban.spab.gov.my.
