Are you a Malaysian student with a thirst for knowledge? If so, mark your calendars for an enriching Zoom session hosted by the Global Organization of People of Indian Origin (GOPIO). The event will take place on April 26, 2024, at 05:30 PM on Zoom and will delve into the diverse array of scholarships offered by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), tailored specifically for students like you.

Date: April 26, 2024

Time: 05:30 PM Kuala Lumpur

Join Zoom Session: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/81006451622…#success

Meeting ID: 810 0645 1622

Led by Madam C. Sushma, Counsellor of Commerce and Education at the High Commission of India, this session promises valuable insights into undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. opportunities available for Malaysian students across various fields. The scholarships offered by ICCR come with a plethora of benefits, including coverage of university tuition fees, monthly stipends, book allowances, and hostel accommodation fees.

During the session, you’ll learn about prominent scholarship schemes such as the Atal Bihari Vajpayee General Scholarship Scheme (GSS) and the Dr. S. Radhakrishnan Cultural Exchange Scholarship Scheme (EEP/CEP). The GSS caters to students pursuing bachelor’s, master’s, and research courses, excluding certain fields like medicine and fashion. Similarly, the EEP/CEP scholarship supports academic pursuits, offering opportunities for bachelors, masters, and research courses in diverse fields with an age range of 18 to 45 years.

For those with a passion for Indian arts, the Lata Mangeshkar Dance & Music Scholarship Scheme presents an exciting opportunity. With 100 scholarships available for foreigners to study Indian culture, including dance, music, theatre, and performing arts, this scheme opens doors to a world of artistic exploration. Administered by the ICCR, this scholarship is open to applicants aged between 18 and 50.
