Sai Pallavi has become synonymous with the term ‘Rowdy Baby’ after her impressive dance moves and flips in Maari 2.
The Sweetheart of South Indian cinema revealed that she was not always the most confident person and why she hid her acting career from her friends. When Sai Pallavi was a medical student in Tbilisi, she was offered her first movie role as a lecturer named Malar in the Malayalam movie Premam.
In a recent interview, she said that since she did not want her friends from Coimbatore know that she’s acting in films, she was keen on accepting the role in a Malayalam film. “With all my friends being Tamil, none would have seen the movie even if I force them, and if the movie had failed, they would never have known it as well. However Premam turned a success. I had lot of pimples in the movie, but people accepted me as I was, and I learnt that confidence is the real beauty” said Sai Pallavi.
Now, Sai Pallavi is a force to reckoned with in the South Indian cinema industry and continues to grow. Currently, she is working on Suriya’s political drama film called NGK that is set to release end of this month.
