The vibrant colours and flavours of Malaysian culture came alive at the High Commission of Malaysia in New Delhi, as over 2,000 people gathered to partake in a celebration like no other. The Malaysia Carnival 2024, held on a Saturday, was a testament to the rich tapestry of traditions and heritage that Malaysia proudly boasts. From cultural performances to tantalising cuisine, the festival offered something for everyone. Families and children revelled in the festivities, which included cooking demonstrations, batik canting, and the opportunity to sample tropical Malaysian fruits. It was a half-day extravaganza that left a lasting impression on all who attended.

Malaysian High Commissioner Muzafar Shah Mustafa highlighted the significance of the event, describing it as an integral part of cultural diplomacy in India. Moreover, it served as a platform to showcase Malaysia’s tourist attractions, setting the stage for Visit Malaysia 2026. The presence of the Federal Agriculture Marketing Authority (FAMA), which shipped in hundreds of kilogrammes of tropical fruits, added a delightful dimension to the carnival.
