The much-loved Tamil culinary reality program “Cooku with Comali,” which airs on Star Vijay TV, has returned for a fifth season last weekend. With its unique blend of culinary challenges and comedy, the show has garnered a loyal fanbase over the years. After some time, Vijay Tv released the promo of the new season. Along with Chef Damu , they introduced actor Madhampatty Rangaraj as the new judge replacing Chef Venkatesh Bhat.
But just as fans mourned the absence of Chef Venkatesh Bhat in the first episode of the new season, a announcement from Sun TV brought a wave of excitement and shock. Sun TV revealed plans for a new cooking comedy show, bearing a striking resemblance to the beloved ‘Cooku with Comali.’ Titled “Top Cooku Dupe Cooku,” the show promises to deliver the same level of entertainment and culinary expertise that viewers have come to expect.
In the promo video, renowned comedy stars such as Deepa, GP Muthu, Bharath, and Monisha were spotted, igniting anticipation among fans.
Viewers were taken aback and fans became confused because “Top Cooku Dupe Cooku” appeared to be similar to “Cooku With Comali.” In response, some asked if the program was a copy of CWC or if it had a different plot. Some felt excited after seeing their favorite comedians appearing in it.
