We looked really close and we still couldn’t find any type of suspensions or support. Varalaxmi really did a backflip on her own!

Varalaxmi Sarathkumar won own her hearts when she made her debut in the 2012 film ‘Poda Podi’ with Simbu and has continued to accept challenging roles in films. She studied acting at Anupam Kher’s Acting School in Mumbai and also has a Master’s in Business Management degree from the University of Edinburgh. Varalaxmi was last seen in Maari 2 as a politician who was at loggerheads with the lead actor Dhanush.

Today, a video she released on social media has gone viral and spread like bushfire. Varalaxmi uploaded a video of her performing a backflip and action stunt for a fight scene in her upcoming film ‘Chasing’. She wrote, “Girls just wanna have fun.!!!! Heheheh so much fun doing my own stunts for my movie #chasing totally worth all the hard work.”

Her caption further clarified our doubts when she wrote, “#shootinprogress#fightsequence #norope Please don’t try this at home. There’s nothing you can’t do, all u gotta do is try”.

Varalaxmi will be playing a biker in Chasing and was recently shooting in Malaysia. The film is directed by Veerakumar, also stars Yamuna Chinnadurai, Bala, Jerrold and Swiss Raghu.

This teaser stunt video has got us all excited for the film and chanting #GirlPower!
