Malayalam movie “Aavesham” hit theatres on April 11 2024, directed by Jithu Madhavan and starring Fahadh Faasil (Fafa) in the lead role.

“Aavesham” stands out as one of the standout films of 2024, achieving blockbuster success at the box office. Currently ranking as the fifth highest-grossing Malayalam film of all time and among the top 5 in the best South Indian films of 2024, this comedy action flick has raked in over 141 crores worldwide within just 13 days of its release.

Fahadh Faasil, a beloved figure in the film industry, delivers yet another exceptional performance in “Aavesham,” earning praise from audiences and fellow actors alike. His portrayal of a unique character adds to the film’s appeal, making it a must-watch for fans.

About the OTT Release:

“Aavesham” is slated for release on Amazon Prime, with sources indicating a potential streaming date around May 9 . Expected to be available in multiple languages including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi. While there’s been no official announcement yet, fans are eagerly await for it’s online release

What is “Aavesham” about?

The film follows the journey of three friends—Aju, Bibi, and Shanthan—who leave Kerala to pursue engineering in Bangalore. However, they find themselves in conflict with senior students, leading them to forge an unlikely alliance with gangster Ranga (Fahadh Faasil).

The film was written by Jithu Madhavan and stars Hipzster, Roshan Shanavas, Mithun Jai Shankar, Sajin Gopu and Mansoor Ali Khan. The film was produced by Nazriya Nazim and Anwar Rasheed under the banner of Fahadh Faasil and friends and Anwar Rasheed Entertainments.
