Vijay TV comedian Nanjil Vijayan has captured hearts with his hilarious antics and versatile performances on various Vijay TV shows. From wearing multiple getups to showcasing his comedic flair, Nanjil Vijayan’s journey to stardom began with his appearances on popular shows like Kalaka Povathu Yaru and Siricha Pochi.
Recently, the actor-comedian added more feathers to his cap by joining multiple shows such as Adhu Idhu Yedhu Season 3, Andakakasam, and Cooku With Comali Season 5. His ability to keep the audience entertained and bursting with laughter, especially with his portrayal of a dressing up as a woman , has earned him a dedicated fan base.
However, Nanjil Vijayan sent shockwaves through his fans and the audience when he took to social media to announce his departure from the show “Cooku With Comali”. The unexpected announcement left many curious and confused. While he made it clear that his decision to leave the show has nothing to do with Vijay TV, he left followers speculating with his cryptic statement about not appearing in any show produced by the box office company.
The announcement triggered a massive reaction from fans, who quickly shared and reposted Nanjil Vijayan’s tweet, fueling speculation about the real reason behind his departure as the actor did not share further information about it.
“Cooku With Comali” is a cherished comedy cooking show that made its debut in 2019 and surged in popularity during 2020. With four successful seasons to its credit, the fifth season premiered this year. A distinctive feature of the show is its comalis, who infuse humor into the cooking challenges. However, this season marks the introduction of some fresh faces among both the comalis and the judging panel.
When the new season of Cook With Comali was announced a few months ago, Chef Venkatesh Bhat, one of the crowd’s favorite judges, revealed that he would not be a part of the new season. A few weeks after Cook with Comali Season 5 aired, Sun TV posted the promo of their new cooking show, “Top Cooku With Dupe,” which seems similar to Cook With Comali. Chef Venkatesh Bhat and a few comalis from Cook With Comali are seen in the promo.
Cooku With Comali show began slightly later this year due to a shift in the production company. Previously, Cook With Comali was managed by Media Mason. However, this season, it was handed over to another media company, Box Office. Meanwhile, Media Mason is currently overseeing the production of the new show, Top Cooku With Dupe, airing on Sun TV.
Amidst ongoing speculation, Cook With Comali Season 5 commenced airing a few weeks ago. The show is broadcasted on Disney+Hotstar and Vijay TV at 9.30pm.
