SJKT Jenjarom Students Secure Silver and Bronze Medals with Innovative Projects at ITEX 2024

The 35th International Invention, Innovation, and Technology Exhibition and Competition (ITEX 2024) was held on May 16th and 17th, 2024, at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. ITEX 2024 brought together a diverse and talented group of inventors from leading institutions and industries. The exhibition was also open to Tamil school students, allowing them to showcase their projects and talents. Among the many participating schools,             SJKT Jenjarom distinguished itself by winning both a bronze and a silver medal at ITEX 2024.

Three students from SJKT Jenjarom participated in the ITEX 2024 exhibition, presenting two remarkable projects. Aksshaya Prata Baskaran and Sharvesh Baskaran teamed up to create and demonstrate a project titled “Fruity Manager.” At their booth, they explained the intricate details and functionalities of their project to the visitors. Their impressive presentation and innovative idea earned them a well-deserved silver medal.

In addition, Thandeswar Murugu presented his solo project titled “My Home Security System.” He provided a detailed explanation of the benefits of his project, highlighting its various components and how they contribute to enhancing home security. His clear and engaging presentation captured the attention of the judges and attendees, resulting in him being awarded a bronze medal.

The participation and success of these students from SJKT Jenjarom at ITEX 2024 not only showcased their talent and creativity but also highlighted the potential and ingenuity of young inventors from Tamil schools. Ms. Saraswathi Subramaniam, a teacher from the school, trained the students for these innovative projects. Under her guidance, the students were well-prepared, both in developing their projects and in presenting them effectively. Their presentation skills were commendable, enabling them to clearly explain their projects to everyone. The school’s headmaster, Mr. Ramasamy Nadesan, expressed his gratitude for the dedication of Ms. Saraswathi Subramaniam and the support of the students’ parents. He also congratulated the students for their collaborative effort and commitment, which contributed to their success at ITEX 2024.
