We have waited a long time for the release of Dhanush’s first international film and it if finally happening!
‘The Extraordinary Journey of The Fakir’ by award-winning director & scriptwriter, Ken Scott, is set to be released on 21 June 2019. The film is based on the best-seller ‘The Extraordinary Journey of The Fakir Who Got Trapped in an IKEA Wardrobe’ written by Romain Puertolas.
Dhanush plays the role of a magician that travels around the world under odd circumstances alongside actors, Berenice Bejo, Erin Moriarty, Barkhad Abdi and others. The film has also been dubbed in Tamil under the title ‘Pakkiri’. We can’t wait to watch Dhanush as the mischievous and resourceful magician Ajatashatru “Aja” Lavash Pate in the big screens soon. The film has already won the Audience Award for Best Comedy at the Barcelona Sant-Jordi International Film Festival.
