The renowned sister duo, Heerraa and Harsha Ravindran, are preparing for their upcoming program, which promises to be highly beneficial for our community. Heerraa is an acclaimed international singer-songwriter and performer dedicated to changing the world through her music. Her mission is to inspire audiences to follow their hearts and achieve their dreams through her songs. On the other hand, Harsha is a social entrepreneur who has delivered three TEDx talks. Having commenced her journey as a reserved 11-year-old with fluctuating ambitions, Harsha now manages three startups, maintaining an impressive 3.99 CGPA at an Ivy League institution. Her accomplishments extend to being invited as a speaker at conferences across the globe, including Switzerland, New York, and Dubai, among others. Additionally, she serves as the CEO of Ascendance, an international youth movement that helps students discover their passions, gain practical experience in their chosen fields, and build sustainable careers. Both sisters co-founded Ascendance.
“Music Performance” – Course hosted by Heerraa
Currently, Heerraa and Harsha are hosting an online course aimed at benefiting numerous young individuals. Heerraa’s course, “Music Performance,” will run from June 16th, 2024, to August 17th, 2024. It will be a three-month program held on alternate Saturdays from 8pm to 10pm. The course, conducted online via Zoom, will consist of a total of five workshops over the three-month period. “Achieving Academic Excellence & Finding Your Ambition” – Course hosted by Harsha
Harsha will also be offering a course titled “Achieving Academic Excellence & Finding Your Ambition,” which will run from June 17th, 2024, to August 18th, 2024. This three-month program will be held on alternate Sundays from 8pm to 10pm. Conducted online via Zoom, the course will feature a total of five workshops over the three-month period. Inspiration Behind the Course
When questioned about what motivated her and Harsha to organize this workshop, Heerraa expressed that they were inspired by the opportunity to impart valuable skills to fellow Malaysian youngsters, drawing from their own decade-long journey in building their careers, which began during their teenage years. They believe it’s an ideal way to give back to teens who are eager to explore similar paths. With their upcoming commitments in the US for conferences and performances scheduled for late August, they saw fit to arrange this course as a comprehensive 3-month summer program, dedicating their time to sharing their experiences with others.
Participants can anticipate a dynamic session in Heerraa’s course, “Music Performance,” where they will be guided through the process of songwriting and composition, fostering their creativity and expression. They will receive personalized instruction to discover and refine their individual singing techniques and performance styles, tailored to their unique abilities. Additionally, Heerraa will offer insights into the glamorous world of red carpet events, drawing from her own experiences attending award shows in San Francisco, performing onstage in the Netherlands, and having her produced songs win awards in Los Angeles. This course will provide a platform for students to explore and nurture their creative talents, encouraging active engagement and growth through the medium of music.
In Harsha’s course, “Achieving Academic Excellence & Finding Your Ambition,” participants can expect an enriching experience. Firstly, students will delve into the exploration of their passions and interests, gaining valuable insights into self-discovery. They will also acquire strategies for excelling in their academic pursuits while effectively managing extracurricular commitments. Additionally, Harsha will share with participants the steps she took that enabled her to start her first business, earned her a scholarship to an international school, and began speaking at conferences, despite being naturally introverted. Through her own experiences, she will provide invaluable guidance on overcoming obstacles and achieving success. Participants will also have the opportunity to enhance their confidence levels in interpersonal interactions, including communication with peers, teachers, and parents, fostering a more assertive and assured demeanor.
Online Preview Session
Both online courses have a maximum capacity of 100 participants each. Prior to enrollment, parents are invited to attend a complimentary online preview session, providing an opportunity to learn more about the courses, gain insights into Heerraa and Harsha’s background, and address any questions or concerns they may have.
