Santhanam was last seen on screen in ‘Dhilluku Dhuddu 2’ that also featured Shritha Sivadas in lead role. The film was written and directed by Rambhala.
After that film, the actor had bagged some projects – one directed by Kannan, ‘A1’ which is directed by debutant Johnson and Dagaalty, directed by Vijay Anand, a former assistant of director Shankar to name a few.

Jointly produced by SP Chowdhary’s 18 reels and Santhanam’s Handmade films, the film also features Rittika Sen and Yogi Babu. The film’s music is scored by Vijay Narain.While Deepak Kumar Padhy is the cinematographer, T.S. Suresh handles the cuts of the film, dance choreography by Shobhi and Silva manages the stunts.
