Director Pa Ranjith’s upcoming project, ‘Vettuvam’, will star actor Arya in a powerful villainous role, marking yet another collaboration between the actor and director. This pairing follows their previous successful venture, ‘Sarpatta Parambarai,’ and precedes their anticipated ‘Sarpatta 2.’
Arya’s involvement in ‘Vettuvam’ adds significant excitement and anticipation among fans, given his impressive performance in ‘Sarpatta Parambarai.’ Alongside Arya as the antagonist of the film, ‘Vettuvam’ also stars Attakathi Dinesh as its main lead. Dinesh has previously worked with Ranjith on the seminal films Attakathi and Kabali.
Sources indicate that Ranjith plans to complete this film before transitioning to ‘Sarpatta 2.’ The shooting of ‘Vettuvam’ is set to span approximately 45 days and is scheduled to commence before the release of another eagerly awaited project, ‘Thangalaan’, which has been stated to be possibly released by the end of this year.
