Vijeyasingham, who received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the MICA Awards in February, had five decades’ experience in local Tamil-language film, television, and theater. Vijayasingam, through his contributions to Malaysian stage dramas, radio, television, and cinema industries, has dedicated more than six decades to the art. Due to his declining health, he was admitted to the hospital and passed away at the age of 79.
