AR Murugadoss is a well-known filmmaker in both Tamil and Hindi cinema. He made his Bollywood debut with the 2008 version of his Tamil blockbuster, ‘Ghajini.’Following the popularity of the Ghajini remake, Murugadoss created Hindi remakes of his South successes ‘Stalin,’ ‘Thuppakki,’ and ‘Mouna Guru.’
After eight years, Murugadoss is about to return to Bollywood with the Salman Khan film “Sikandar.” Interestingly, this is his first Hindi original film. Filming on ‘Sikandar’ commenced yesterday. Today, Murugadoss shared an image from the set that shows him, Salman Khan, and producer Sajid Nadiadwala. This picture is currently gaining traction.
The acclaimed director uploaded the shot with the description, “A glimpse straight from the sets of Sikandar.” I’m thrilled to be here, sir, with you, @BeingSalmanKhan! Anticipating wonderful moments in the future with #SajidNadiadwalaâs #Sikandar #ARMSikandarEid2025 (sic).” Eid 2025 is when the action entertainer, which also stars Sathyaraj as the antagonist and Rashmika as the heroine, is supposed to premiere.
For the next two months, Murugadoss, who is now working with Tamil actor Sivakarthikeyan on an action movie tentatively named SK23, would split his time between the Tamil and Hindi projects.The article also stated that Murugadoss intends to finish as much of SK23 as possible before “Sikandar” moves into the floors.
After filming the first schedule of Sikandar in May, he would return to finish Sivakarthikeyan’s film in June.From July, he will be completely immersed in the Salman-starring film.Salman Khan recently revealed on the occasion of Eid that Sikandar, his upcoming film with AR Murugadoss, will be released on Eid in 2025.
