In an exciting change for Tamil cinema, actor Soori starred film, “Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai”, directed by Ram, has been selected for screening at the prestigious Transylvania International Film Festival in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. This recognition follows its earlier successful showcases at the Rotterdam International Film Festival and the Moscow International Film Festival.

The film stars Soori, Nivin Pauly and Anjali in leading roles. The story has garnered international attention, evident from its triumph at the Rotterdam International Film Festival, where it won the prestigious Big Screen Award. Producer Suresh Kamatchi expressed immense joy and pride in the film’s continued global journey.

“It is with great excitement and joy that we announce ‘Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai’ has been selected for the Transylvania International Film Festival,” Kamatchi stated. The film has been picked for the “No Limit” category, which celebrates new movies with unique visuals and compelling narratives. This selection underscores the film’s high-quality production and its ability to resonate with a global audience.

The film has been picked for the “No Limit” category, which celebrates new movies with unique visuals and compelling narratives. This selection underscores the film’s high-quality production and its ability to resonate with a global audience.

Nivin Pauly, one of the film’s leads, shared the thrilling news on his X account, expressing his gratitude and enthusiasm for the film’s ongoing international journey. He accompanied his post with a new poster, further building anticipation among fans and critics.

Produced under the banner of V House Productions, “Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai” features music by the renowned Yuvan Shankar Raja. The film’s first glimpse video, captivated audiences with its stunning visuals captured by cinematographer NK Ekhambram and edited by Mathi VS, while teasing a story of immortal love without giving too much away.

Nivin Pauly’s performance in this film is particularly anticipated as it marks his third direct-Tamil project, following his notable roles in “Neram” and “Richie. Soori, who recently achieved a significant milestone with his film “Garudan” grossing Rs 50 crore, adds another feather to his cap with this international recognition. He is also set to appear in another major project, “Viduthalai Part 2”, directed by Vetri Maaran.
