The highly anticipated Suriya-starrer, “Kanguva,” has finally secured a release date. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on October 10, 2024. Following over a year of delays and several speculated release dates, the filmmakers officially confirmed the date on Thursday. Directed by Siva, “Kanguva” is described as an action-adventure film, with segments set 1,500 years in the past.
In addition to Suriya, the film’s cast features Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, Natarajan Subramaniam, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, Ravi Raghavendra, KS Ravikumar, and BS Avinash. Notably, Disha Patani will be making her Tamil film debut with this movie.
“Kanguva” features cinematography by Vetri Palanisamy and editing by Nishadh Yusuf, with a musical score composed by Devi Sri Prasad. Reports indicate that the film will be released in 10 languages, available in both 3D and IMAX formats. The production is handled by K E Gnanavel Raja, V Vamsi Krishna Reddy, and Pramod Uppalapati under the banners of Studio Green and UV Creations.
The filmmakers previously released a teaser, offering audiences a glimpse into the stunning world of “Kanguva.” The announcement of the release date has generated significant excitement among fans, building anticipation for its October debut.
