Today, internationally acclaimed musician and composer AR Rahman had the honour of meeting with the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim. This meeting underscores the cultural ties between India and Malaysia. Held at the Prime Minister’s Office in the Parliament building, Rahman was warmly received by Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
During the courtesy visit, Rahman expressed his admiration for Malaysia’s rich cultural diversity and vibrant arts scene. He emphasized the significance of cultural exchanges in fostering mutual understanding and strengthening bilateral relations between nations. Yesterday, Rahman held a fan meet session ahead of his highly anticipated mega concert on July 27th at the National Stadium Bukit Jalil, scheduled for 8pm. The meet-and-greet attracted nearly 1,500 attendees, offering fans an opportunity to get up close and personal with Rahman.
