Lakshmi Ramakrishnan, who has been known for her interesting supporting roles in many movies, has also directed several critically acclaimed movies like Aarohanam, Nerungi Vaa Muthamidathey and Ammani.
She is now ready with her fourth movie House Owner.
Starring Kishore, Lovelyn Chandrasekhar (who is making her debut as the female lead), Pasanga fame Master Kishore in key roles, House Owner has Kishore as a retired army official who is obsessed with his house and the movie is set during the times of Chennai floods.

A couple of films have surrounded their plots on the Chennai floods but never fully on it. VIP 2 ended with the note that the Chennai floods brought people together.
House owner was initially supposed to release on June 21, but now the release has been pushed by a week to June 28.

House Owner has music by Ghibran and is produced by Monkey Creative Labs.
Based on real events, the movie has been made as a slow thriller.
