Chelochina Thevi, famously known as the ‘Appam Lady,’ has transformed her culinary venture from a humble stall in Lucky Garden to an upscale eatery. After 36 years of serving her beloved appams, Chelo’s Appams opened a restaurant on 12th July.
This move from a simple DBKL stall to a high-end venue signifies the growth of Chelochina’s devoted clientele.
The new space offers air conditioning and ample dining areas, a significant improvement from the previous setup,” said S.N Rajan, a Bangsar local acquainted with Chelochina’s journey.
