Top star Prashanth is set to make a grand return to Tamil cinema with his highly anticipated film ‘Andhagan,’ directed by his father Thiagarajan. Scheduled for release on August 15th, this crime thriller has already created a buzz with the unveiling of its star-studded song, ‘Andhagan Anthem.’
In a grand event held in Chennai, actor Prashanth, along with Thiagarajan and the film’s team, launched the song. ‘Andhagan Anthem,’ released by Thalapathy Vijay, has captivated audiences with its peppy beats and was conceptualized and choreographed by the dancing legend Prabhu Deva. Notably, Prashanth shares the screen with Thalapathy Vijay and Prabhu Deva in Venkat Prabhu’s upcoming film ‘The Greatest Of All Time.’
The song’s lyrics video begins with a heartfelt thank-you message to Thalapathy Vijay. Composed by Santhosh Narayanan, ‘Andhagan Anthem’ features the vocals of Rockstar Anirudh and Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi , blending a trendy vibe with its fusion of beats. The video highlights Prashanth and Simran showcasing their dance moves together after a significant hiatus.
‘Andhagan’ is the official Tamil remake of the Hindi blockbuster ‘Andhadhun’ and boasts a stellar cast including Prashanth, Simran, Priya Anand, Karthik, Samuthirakani, Urvashi, Yogi Babu, KS Ravikumar, Vanitha Vijayakumar, and Manobala, among others. Ravi Yadav handles cinematography, while Sathish Suriya takes charge of editing duties.
