Rajinikanth’s 2.0 Hits Screens Today!

The much awaited blockbuster of the year, 2.0, releases worldwide today. Rajinikanth is back as Chitti and Dr Vaseegaran, reprising his roles in prequel Enthiran.

This Shankar directorial features music by A R Rahman. Akshay Kumar plays the antagonist in 2.0, while Amy Jackson stars opposite the Superstar. Sudhanshu Pandey, Adil Hussain, Kalabhavan Shajohn, and Riyaz Khan appear in supporting roles.

Scenes for 2.0 were mostly show in India. The notable Chennai’s Madras Boat Club and Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium are two locations we are looking out for. Filming was completed in August 2017. 2.0 is the most expensive Indian film made to date, costing a whopping US$75 million. (RM314 million)

A quick check online shows that most cinemas have begun selling tickets online for the show, starting 10am today.
