The Covid-19 case is blooming rapidly all over the nation with almost from everyone high and low contracting the virus unprecedently!

Now, an employee from the MBSM Bank has tested Covid-19 positive and is believed to have contracted the virus from a close family member.

The news was highlighted to the public through their official Facebook page-


The bank has just released a statement;

“MBSB Bank Berhad confirms that one of its employees, who did not deal with customers directly… at Kenanga International, Jalan Sultan Ismail, has tested positive for Covid-19. All MBSB Bank employees from Kenanga International have been asked to revert to working from home. Those with direct contact with said employee have also been asked to work from home,” it said, adding that contact tracing is being conducted.”

The bank has also made further announcement on it’s social media handle stating that 6 of it’s branches have been closed during the Covid-19 outbreak.

Netizens have been assured that despite the crisis, it would not interfere with any of its operations and that it would continue to take proactive measures to ensure the safety of its customers and workers.

All employees at the bank’s KL branch have been told to ensure their safety by following the SOP’s implemented!
