During the recent press conference at Haiku KL, Mathubalan, the founder of BWHPK and the concert’s organizer, expressed his desire to establish a platform for independent music and artists on a global scale. He noted that while many Kollywood artists hold concerts in Malaysia, his aim was to showcase diverse and emerging talent in the music industry. This vision inspired him to feature an independent artist for his inaugural project under BWHPK, demonstrating his commitment to promoting fresh and unique voices in the music scene.
“Sahi Siva Live in Kuala Lumpur is a stepping stone for us. We plan to introduce more initiatives to support and recognize independent artists, providing them with a platform to showcase their talent,” said Mathubalan.
Arvind Raj, the co-organizer of the concert, emphasised the importance of such platforms and initiatives, stating, “These kinds of opportunities are crucial for building connections between independent artists from other countries and our own, helping to grow the Tamil independent music scene.”
