SJKT Ladang Semenyih Brings National and Chinese Schools Together for Vibrant Multicultural Deepavali Celebration

On December 4th, SJKT Ladang Semenyih hosted a lively and vibrant multicultural Deepavali celebration, uniting a diverse range of cultural traditions and festive spirits. The event served as a platform for students and participants from various schools to come together and showcase the rich cultural tapestry that defines Malaysia.

The event was a “Deepavali Cross-Cultural Networking Program” aimed at fostering cultural exchange and promoting mutual understanding among diverse communities.

In this event, SJKT Ladang Semenyih was proud to host a vibrant celebration, with participation from three national schools and three Chinese schools. The schools involved were SK Dusun Tua, SK Bandar Rinching, SK (2) Jalan Bukit Kajang, SJKC Sin Ming Semenyih, SJKC Ton Fah, and SJKC Kampung Baru Semenyih. Together, they came together to celebrate the spirit of Deepavali, showcasing the diverse cultural traditions of the Indian, Malay, and Chinese communities.

The event showcased an array of cultural performances, art exhibitions, and traditional displays, celebrating the distinctive heritage and creativity of each community. This meaningful celebration provided participants and attendees with the opportunity to engage in cultural exchange, promoting mutual understanding, respect, and appreciation for the rich diversity that forms the essence of Malaysian society.

The multicultural Deepavali celebration at SJKT Ladang Semenyih was a resounding success, exemplifying the harmonious coexistence of Malaysia’s diverse communities.
