The recently renovated kindergarten in Desa Changkat Indian Settlement, which caters to 25 students, is now ready to welcome its young learners. Beginning this year, the upgraded facility will provide a more conducive learning environment for kindergarten students. A newly constructed community hall next to the kindergarten is now fully available for public use. The official opening of the kindergarten building was officiated by Batu Gajah Member of Parliament V. Sivakumar, marking a significant milestone for the local community.

The kindergarten had been functioning for many years in a rented house. The Member of Parliament for the constituency noted that RM95,000 in funding was allocated to renovate the building.

Additionally, the community hall next to the preschool has also been renovated for public use. Residents in the area can now fully utilize these facilities moving forward. In the first phase, charitable items such as food baskets and rice were distributed to B40 Indian families. Additionally, in celebration of the upcoming Chinese New Year festival, food baskets were also provided to the Chinese community.

He expressed his gratitude, highlighting that the successful renovation and opening of the kindergarten were the result of the effective leadership and dedicated efforts of Indian Settlement village head Shah Raveen and Rukun Tetangga chairman Raghu Auli.

This year marks a significant milestone with the opening of the newly renovated kindergarten, now fully equipped with modern facilities. Rukun Tetangga Chairman Raghu Auli extended heartfelt gratitude on behalf of the local community to Batu Gajah Member of Parliament V. Sivakumar for his generous financial support that made this project possible.
