As a step to uplift the Indian Community, Datuk Ramanan has said that there are 10 initiatives that may be announced in 2025. The initiatives are made to aim for the development needs of the community, particularly in fostering entrepreneurship and economic empowerment.
Speaking at the Pongal celebration, in Sungai Buloh, Datuk Ramanan not only announced it but he reflected on the achievements made in the past year.
Since taking the role of Deputy Minister, he has announced seven initiatives that benefit the Indian community and entrepreneurs. As the question arises on the continuation of the initiatives in 2025, Datuk Ramanan assured their commitment on this and said the initiatives will undoubtedly be continued. Last year they implemented seven initiatives and this year they are expecting nearly 10 new initiatives that will enhance more opportunities for the Indian Community.

The primary goal of this is to not just be an announcement but to ensure proper implementation, and it reaches the community effectively.
The Pongal celebration took place on 14th January which served as a vibrant celebration of Tamil Culture. The event was filled with notable attendees including Datuk Anbumani and YB Gunaraj.
Datuk Ramanan concluded by assuring their dedication to support the Indian community through meaningful and impactful initiatives. With the upcoming initiatives, the government aims to strengthen the role of the community in Malaysia’s economic landscape.
