In a heartwarming celebration and cultural appreciation and unity, an Indian family of 30 gathered to celebrate Chinese New Year with a feast and traditions that have taken Tik Tok by storm. The video, posted by Abraham, has crossed over 500,00 views overnight, as people were praising their lively and joyous atmosphere.

The video captured the Indian Family fully immersed in the Chinese New Year Celebration, from exchanging Mandarin Oranges to getting themselves into the ‘loh hei’ tradition, and a full hotpot meal.

The ‘Loh Hei’ is a dish where people toss ingredients while shouting auspicious phrases, which took a humorous turn when Abraham said, “I’ve never seen the Loh Hei fly to the ceiling before”.

Beyond all the meals and traditions, the family spent time making Tik Tok dances, playing games and had fun with each other. They even exchanged red packets with Abraham receiving a few himself. The red packets are a gesture in Chinese tradition that symbolizes prosperity and good fortune.

Their feast was a spread of flavors, featuring hot pot dishes like Gyozas and other delicious delicacies. The video resonated with many viewers highlighting the beauty of cultural appreciation and the joy of celebrating other race traditions with your family.

The family’s Chinese New Year celebration showcases our Asian’s multicultural harmony, where different communities come together to honor one another’s tradition. As the video continues to gain traction, it shows us a beautiful reminder that celebrations are best to be enjoyed with your loved ones.
