The government through KPKT has accepted the development of the Harmoni MADANI People’s Residency Programme (PRR) in Bestari Jaya. This project, estimated at RM 75 million, will be co-founded by the federal government (RM40 million) and the Selangor state government (RM35 million). Berjaya Corporation Berhad (BCB) has provided approximately 8.09 acres of land at Ladang Tinggi Estate for the development which will be executed by PR1MA Corporation Malaysia.

The Harmoni MADANI PRR Bestari Jaya, will feature 243 single story homes available for direct purchase. The development will have essential conveniences including kindergartens, nurseries, retail shops, food stalls and children’s playground. These residences are designated for 245 families of plantation workers from five estates, Ladang Mary, Ladang Nigel Gardner, Ladang Bukit Tagar, Ladang Sungai Tinggi Plantation and Ladang Minyak.

This development underscores the government’s initiative in addressing and resolving issues faced by the Indian Community, ensuring equitable progress and inclusivity for all Malaysians.
