In an extraordinary feat, Miracle of Mind, a free meditation app by Sadhguru, has shattered records by surpassing 1 million downloads within just 15 hours of its launch. Taking social media by storm, the app has outpaced ChatGPT, which reached the same milestone in five days.

Within 24 hours, Miracle of Mind is trending in 20 countries, including the USA, Canada, the UK, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Germany, Kenya, the UAE, and India. This remarkable achievement underscores the growing global recognition of meditation as a powerful tool for mental well-being.

The success of Miracle of Mind comes at a crucial time amid a rising global mental health crisis. According to the World Health Organization, one in eight people worldwide struggle with a mental health disorder, with figures reaching as high as one in four in the UK (MIND). The app’s rapid adoption highlights the increasing demand for practical, science-backed solutions to enhance mental well-being.

Closer to home, the National Health and Morbidity Survey 2023 found that nearly 5% of Malaysian adults exhibit depressive symptoms, while mental health concerns among children aged 5 to 15 have reached an alarming 16.5%.

Dr. Vivek Murthy & Sadhguru

Available in five languages, including Tamil, the app’s impactful 7-minute guided meditation has taken the world by storm, captivating users with its simplicity and effectiveness. Plans are underway to introduce more languages, including Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia, Japanese, Vietnamese, and Thai, in future updates.

Beyond meditation, the app features an AI-powered tool that delivers personalized wisdom and insights from Sadhguru’s extensive archive on a wide range of topics, further enhancing its appeal.

Sadhguru shared the following at launch:
“Every kind of technology and comfort we have created in the world – from a safety pin to a spaceship – was first created in the human mind. Every mind is capable of creating unimaginable things. Whether we will create unimaginable miracles or unimaginable miseries is our choice. We must all choose to create & experience the Miracle of Mind.”

Quote from Dr Anjhula Mya Bais, International Psychologist, Trauma Specialist, International Board Member of Amnesty International Worldwide: “Miracle of Mind is a transformative experience that supports psychological wellbeing by promoting mindfulness, inner peace, and self-awareness. It empowers users to reconnect with their true selves, reducing stress and enhancing emotional resilience while fostering a healthier, balanced mindset. Through guided meditation, the app serves as a valuable tool for personal growth and mental health.”

As more Malaysians look for effective and time-efficient ways to take charge of their mental well-being, Miracle of Mind emerges as a promising solution. With just a 7-minute practice, the app effortlessly fits into daily routines, promoting a healthier and more balanced lifestyle.
